About the role
As a Technical Program Manager, you will serve as the execution engine for Zapier's engineering organization. You will oversee operating cadences, design intake systems, facilitate monthly operating reviews, build governance models, and standardize processes across teams without requiring direct authority.
What you'll do
- Establish and run the engineering operating cadence, including monthly reviews, planning cycles, and decision forums.
- Design and manage the intake process for engineering initiatives to ensure clear goals and alignment.
- Drive standardization, operating norms, and shared templates across engineering teams.
- Partner on incident management maturation, postmortem follow-through, and operational excellence.
- Steward engineering organization health, feedback loops, and major change-readiness programs.
What you bring
- Demonstrated track record running complex cross-functional programs end-to-end.
- Comfort operating in ambiguity and building processes and frameworks from scratch.
- Technical fluency with modern operations tooling (Jira, Coda, Slack, modern AI tools) and technical documentation.
- Experience working closely with engineering organizations in an operational capacity.
- Strong proactive and asynchronous communication skills.
