About the role
As the Senior Payroll Analyst for North America, you will oversee end-to-end payroll processing for roughly 800 employees across the United States and Canada. You will ensure full compliance with federal, state, provincial, and local tax regulations, manage year-end filings such as W-2s and T4s, resolve payroll discrepancies, and mentor a Payroll Administrator while scaling payroll systems and processes.
What you'll do
- Manage end-to-end semi-monthly payroll processing for approximately 800 U.S. and Canadian employees.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state/provincial, and local payroll tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Partner with People Operations, Benefits, and external vendors to ensure accurate deductions and transactions.
- Lead year-end reporting and reconciliation activities, including W-2s, T4s, tax filings, and payroll audits.
- Act as a subject matter expert to standardize payroll processes and mentor the Payroll Administrator.
What you bring
- BA/BS in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 7+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably across both U.S. and Canadian payrolls.
- Strong knowledge of federal, state, and provincial payroll tax regulations.
- Experience with payroll systems, with ADP Workforce Now strongly preferred.
- Exceptional attention to detail, analytical capabilities, and customer-service communication skills.
