You will integrate OCR tools, build connectors to platforms like SharePoint, configure text cleaning and semantic chunking workflows, and optimize vector storage schemas to power downstream RAG and AI applications.
What you'll do

- Build connectors to enterprise document sources including SharePoint and email.
- Integrate and optimize OCR and document parsing tools (e.g., AWS Textract) for precise text and layout extraction.
- Develop automated workflows for text cleaning, normalization, semantic chunking, and metadata tagging.
- Design vector storage schemas and retrieval mechanisms (RAG) to serve downstream enterprise AI models.
- Establish monitoring, error handling, and validation loops for document extraction quality and low-latency SLAs.
What you bring
- 5–10 years of professional data engineering experience building ingestion and processing pipelines on public clouds.
- Strong hands-on experience handling unstructured documents and OCR tooling such as AWS Textract or equivalents.
- Demonstrated expertise in Python, SQL, and core AWS services like S3, Step Functions, and CloudWatch.
