About the role
As Billing & Accounts Receivable Analyst, you will own customer billing, accounts receivable, and collections for TestGorilla's subscription business. Joining a lean, AI-empowered three-person Finance team, you will resolve payment queries, reconcile billing against the ledger, and lead the automation of recurring AR workflows and MRR/ARR movement reporting.
What you'll do
- Own end-to-end customer billing including invoicing, subscription modifications, credit notes, and refund management.
- Manage accounts receivable, collections, and dunning via Upflow, resolving customer disputes directly.
- Investigate root causes of recurring billing discrepancies and fix underlying processes.
- Reconcile billing and payments against ledger records and produce MRR/ARR movement analysis.
- Introduce and scale automations across billing, AR, and reporting toward exception-based processing.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to test and monitor billing platform changes, pricing updates, and packaging rules.
What you bring
- At least 4 years of experience owning customer billing, AR, collections, and reconciliation.
- Hands-on experience with recurring subscription billing platforms such as Chargebee, Zuora, Recurly, Stripe Billing, or Maxio.
- Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel or Google Sheets capabilities.
- Demonstrated ability to use AI and workflow automation tools to reduce manual Finance tasks.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills in a remote, async environment.
