About the role
As Finance Manager at Netlify, you will take complete ownership of the corporate finance function, managing monthly reporting, annual budgeting, scenario planning, and company-level KPI analysis. This is a high-autonomy, individual contributor role without junior analyst support, meaning you will build, maintain, and redesign the 3-statement operating models from scratch. You will also serve as the key finance partner to department leaders across the business, while finding ways to eliminate manual cycle work using AI and modern data tooling.
What you'll do
- Drive the monthly reporting cadence, variance analysis, and management reporting package with actionable insights for leadership
- Take full ownership of the 3-statement operating model, driver-based forecast, and structural model updates
- Help drive the annual planning process, including scenario models, planning templates, and strategic assumptions
- Build and maintain company-level KPI metrics (ARR, NRR, gross margin, CAC payback, Rule of 40)
- Serve as the primary finance contact for department leaders on budget, headcount, and software spend
- Automate manual work across close and forecast cycles using AI workflows and improved tooling
What you bring
- 5+ years of experience in FP&A or strategic finance, including SaaS or usage-based business experience
- Track record of building 3-statement models from scratch with scenario and sensitivity analysis
- Strong working knowledge of US GAAP, core accounting principles, and SaaS metrics
- Advanced Google Sheets or Excel skills, comfort with large datasets, and working knowledge of SQL
- Hands-on experience building AI workflows for finance tasks and validating AI outputs
