About the role
As an HR Specialist Level 3 – EMEA, you will serve as the senior escalation tier for complex employee issues across the company's Employer of Record (EOR) service. Handling escalations that Level 1 and Level 2 teams cannot resolve, you will investigate root causes, manage end-to-end case resolution via tickets and calls, coordinate with legal and payroll teams, and help document workflows to prevent recurring issues.
What you'll do
- Act as the senior escalation point for complex and sensitive employee cases across EMEA.
- Own cases end-to-end across contracts, onboarding, leave, payroll, benefits queries, employee relations, and offboarding.
- Investigate issues, assess risk, determine root causes, and guide appropriate resolution paths.
- Support employees and clients through tickets, email, and calls, including de-escalation and sensitive conversations.
- Collaborate closely with Payroll, Operations, Legal, Compliance, Finance, and regional stakeholders to resolve cases.
- Document processes, guidance, and case history to prevent recurring escalations.
What you bring
- 4–6+ years of experience in HR Operations, Employee Services, Shared Services HR, Employee Relations, EOR, or PEO environments.
- Strong multi-country EMEA HR knowledge (experience with Spain, Italy, the UK, Germany, and France preferred).
- Proven experience independently managing complex HR escalations and sensitive employee cases.
- Solid knowledge of the employee lifecycle, employment documentation, leave, payroll, and benefits.
- Proficiency with ticketing and case management tools such as Intercom, HubSpot, or Zendesk.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
