About the role
The Video Editor will transform raw footage into polished, compelling content optimized for digital platforms. Working closely with the media production team, you will maintain consistent visual style, pacing, and storytelling across long-form episodes, short-form micro-content, and social media assets in alignment with brand guidelines.
What you'll do
- Edit long-form and short-form video content according to creative direction and project deadlines
- Add motion graphics, captions, lower thirds, and optimize audio levels, color grading, and transitions
- Manage project files, version control, and asset organization for seamless collaboration and handoffs
- Collaborate with producers, designers, and other editors to incorporate feedback and refine storytelling
- Ensure all final deliverables meet platform technical specifications, aspect ratios, and format requirements
What you bring
- Proven experience editing professional video content with a portfolio or reel to demonstrate work
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro (or similar NLE), basic After Effects, and audio editing tools
- Strong sense of pacing, rhythm, visual storytelling, and platform formats for YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, communication skills, and ability to handle tight deadlines
