About the role
As an independent AI engineer or architect in the A.Team network, you will work directly with founders, CTOs, and product leaders to design and ship production-grade AI systems. Rather than simple API wrappers or proofs-of-concept, you will build AI-native products from 0 to 1, orchestrate multi-agent architectures, build scalable ML platforms, and develop reliable retrieval and evaluation infrastructure.
What you'll do
- Design and build 0-to-1 AI-native products and production-ready enterprise AI deployments.
- Architect and implement agent workflows, orchestration systems, and LLM-powered applications.
- Develop scalable retrieval, evaluation, and reliability infrastructure for AI/ML systems.
- Collaborate directly with client founders, CTOs, and product leaders to shape technical direction and execution.
What you bring
- Proven track record of deploying robust AI/ML systems into production at scale.
- Senior-level technical architecture and software engineering expertise.
- Deep understanding of the practical tradeoffs behind modern AI, LLMs, and machine learning infrastructure.
- Experience working independently and autonomously with cross-functional leadership teams.
