About the role
As a Senior Platform Engineer, you will drive large-scale platform projects, architect scalable microservices, and champion technical excellence across engineering. You will develop backend services, optimize PostgreSQL and NoSQL datastores, maintain CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code pipelines, and mentor peers and junior developers.
What you'll do
- Design scalable, maintainable, and secure service architectures and contribute to long-term platform vision.
- Build backend services and background worker applications using C# in a functional paradigm or TypeScript.
- Work with SQL (especially PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases to ensure performance and reliability.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and Infrastructure as Code across Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
- Mentor and develop junior engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and pairing.
What you bring
- 7–10 years of progressive software engineering experience with technical leadership.
- Proficiency or ability to quickly ramp up with typed, functional programming in C# or TypeScript.
- Extensive experience with system architecture, database optimization (PostgreSQL preferred), and distributed systems.
- Strong hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure, Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS.
- Proven experience with security best practices, CI/CD, and Agile/Scrum delivery.
