About the role
As part of an experienced team of senior engineers, you will focus on eliminating toil and scaling automation pipelines that support over 1,000 repositories and hundreds of daily builds across multiple operating systems and distribution channels. Working with minimal overhead and no mandatory weekly meetings, you will leverage tools like AWS, Terraform, and modern CI optimization techniques to power Brave's continuous delivery for more than 121 million users.
What you'll do
- Build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automation across desktop and mobile architectures.
- Manage and scale cloud infrastructure using AWS and Terraform.
- Support build and release engineering, packaging, code signing, and app store distribution.
- Own and drive tooling and workflow improvements end-to-end while collaborating directly with product teams.
- Develop PoCs and best practices for browser, search engine, and premium product infrastructure.
What you bring
- 10+ years of professional engineering experience.
- Demonstrated expertise with AWS and Terraform.
- Extensive experience with automation and CI/CD pipelines, ideally for mobile or desktop applications.
- Deep familiarity across multiple operating systems including Linux, macOS, Windows, Android, and iOS.
- Strong scripting skills in Bash/Shell, Python, Kotlin, or Groovy.
