About the role
Sitting at the intersection of payroll and billing, this role centers on reconciling gross-to-net payroll reports against client invoices cycle by cycle. You will address questions from employees about net pay, statutory deductions, and FX conversions, while also serving as the primary contact for client HR and Finance teams to explain invoice calculations and discrepancies.
What you'll do
- Reconcile gross-to-net payroll reports against client invoices line by line each cycle to catch and explain variances.
- Resolve employee support tickets regarding payslips, statutory deductions, shifted pay dates, and currency conversion rates.
- Serve as the primary contact for client HR and Finance teams regarding invoice breakdowns and employer tax contributions.
- Investigate discrepancies such as FX timing differences, retroactive adjustments, and off-cycle payments.
- Partner with Payroll, Billing, and Accounts Receivable teams to correct invoicing errors and clear billing blocks.
- Maintain clear case notes to ensure recurring payroll and billing questions are answered consistently.
What you bring
- 2–4+ years of experience in payroll support, billing, or accounts receivable, ideally within an EOR, PEO, or global payroll platform.
- Hands-on experience reconciling payroll data against client invoices.
- Strong working knowledge of gross-to-net pay calculations, statutory deductions, employer tax burdens, and FX conversions.
- Proven ability to communicate complex payroll and invoice details clearly to both employees and client finance teams.
- Meticulous attention to numerical detail and analytical problem-solving instincts.
