About the role
As a Lead MES Consultant, you will drive operational and delivery excellence across pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical manufacturing organizations. You will act as the lead technical consultant from process analysis and design through configuration, testing, and deployment, while leading and mentoring a growing team of MES consultants.
What you'll do
- Act as lead technical consultant on client implementations from process design through configuration, testing, deployment, and hypercare.
- Design, configure, and test digital workflows using Vimachem's no-code/low-code MBR Designer.
- Deliver high-impact technical demonstrations and collaborate with sales executives to secure technical wins.
- Collaborate with client QA, Production, and IT stakeholders to align MES implementations with regulatory and GMP requirements.
- Lead and mentor a growing team of MES consultants, ensuring alignment and professional development.
What you bring
- At least 5 years of experience in Pharma / Biopharma manufacturing or working with Pharma / Biopharma clients.
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience with MES platforms (e.g., Werum PAS-X, Rockwell, Emerson Syncade, Siemens OpsCenter) including functional configuration and EBR design.
- At least 2 years of experience delivering demonstrations and training of MES platforms in Life Sciences.
- Strong understanding of GMP workflows, batch record design, and regulatory requirements in pharma production.
- Bachelor's degree in a STEM or Life Science discipline (or equivalent practical experience).
- Ability to travel up to 25% for on-site customer visits.
