About the role
As a Lead Hybrid QA Engineer, you will take ownership of release quality and lead a talented development and QA team. The role bridges manual testing and automated processes across web, mobile, and APIs using Python, Selenium, Playwright, and Appium. You will be empowered to decide launch readiness, write test plans, conduct code reviews, and drive improvements across the continuous integration pipeline.
What you'll do
- Lead, mentor, and conduct performance reviews for QA and development team members
- Drive the testing lifecycle from requirements gathering through deployment across web, mobile, and APIs
- Develop, analyze, and maintain automated tests and frameworks using Python, Selenium, Playwright, and Appium
- Conduct code reviews and optimize CI/CD pipelines alongside Docker and Kubernetes infrastructure
- Track, debug, and report product issues, providing clear feedback to cross-functional teams
What you bring
- Minimum 8 years of software testing experience with at least 4 years in a relevant technical role
- 2+ years of experience in technical leadership, mentoring, and work allocation
- Strong hands-on programming experience with Python
- Extensive experience in manual and automated testing for web, mobile (Android/iOS), and REST APIs
- Working knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL, plus debugging tools like Postman and Chrome DevTools
