About the role
As the Frontend Engineering Team Lead within the Marketing Tech and Social domain, you will lead a group of developers, architect high-performance solutions, and maintain a strong balance of hands-on technical contributions and people management. Key initiatives include driving an architectural migration toward Nuxt.js and Server-Side Rendering (SSR), optimizing Core Web Vitals, and instilling modern engineering best practices across a high-traffic environment.
What you'll do
- Lead, mentor, and conduct line management for a frontend team, including 1-on-1s and performance evaluations.
- Drive high-level architecture decisions and lead the transition of the web platform to Nuxt.js and Server-Side Rendering (SSR).
- Maintain active hands-on engineering involvement through coding, architectural reviews, and technical guidance.
- Optimize site performance, Core Web Vitals, and technical SEO for high-scale, high-traffic consumer experiences.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, cross-functional stakeholders, and backend engineers to deliver features.
What you bring
- 8+ years of software development experience with a strong focus on frontend technologies.
- 2+ years of formal engineering leadership or line management experience.
- Expertise in modern JavaScript/TypeScript (ES6+), CSS preprocessors (Less/Sass), and build tools like Webpack.
- Proven experience with state management architectures and large-scale web migrations to Nuxt.js or SSR frameworks.
- Demonstrated track record optimizing web performance and Core Web Vitals in high-traffic applications.
