About the role
In this role, you will become the dedicated public face of DataGrip, JetBrains' database IDE. You will act as the crucial link between users and the internal product team, leading discussions across online communities like Reddit, Discord, and X, generating enduring technical educational material, and gathering community feedback to influence product roadmaps and launches.
What you'll do
- Monitor and actively engage with database professionals across community platforms like Reddit, X, and Discord.
- Produce high-quality technical content, including video tutorials and in-depth blog posts, highlighting database development practices.
- Represent DataGrip at industry conferences through technical presentations and community networking.
- Collect real-world user feedback and pain points from the field to share directly with product and engineering teams.
- Participate in product discussions from inception when building and launching new database tools.
What you bring
- Solid technical background in database development and working experience with PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server, or other relational databases.
- Proven ability to create clear, high-quality technical written or video content tailored for software developers.
- Comfort and confidence presenting technical subjects publicly at industry conferences and events.
- Demonstrated track record of navigating and participating in online developer communities.
- Fluency in English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
